What is WordPress.org?

Wordpress is one of the biggest technology out so far still right now for building websites and more. No matter what size of a problem your business has with managing all the content that you are sharing online, wordpress makes it easy to share and organize and update and also more. 

But wordpress comes in two specific types one of them being wordpress.org.

Wordpress is a open source publishing platform of choice for millions of websites worldwide—from creators and small businesses to enterprises but not everyone knows about the two types being wordpress.org and wordpress.com domains promoting the same type of technology respectively. 

I've built countless enough site to tell the difference and it;s mainly just this.

Wordpress.org serves a crowd of people who want a deeper style of root to the website they would be building. And of course wordpress is not just a blogging platform although the underlining tech makes it super easy to point in the direction of blogging for most.

I will dive deeper in another article as to which domain to jump into for your needed website building vibe. But the .org domain is just the more mature package were you can just install in on your server and set up in minutes, and the .org gives you the keys essentially to start your own engines versus the more laid back keys in already and just waiting for you to push to start of the .com domains style. 

Most recently I've diverged from wordpress websites to more custom setups to fulfill my needs as a producer and creator but as I say wordpress is still a platform that needs people to learn how it runs and its still being updated from the ground up so that's still is a good thing, imaging Facebook but its more direct to you and me then facebook witch has a more business to business approach.

Business to business means my business is in available for other businesses processes to consume, the .org is more business friendly while the .com witch I don't need to mention more will go in its own post.
